Privacy Policy for Aviation Dictionary Lite

Last Updated and Effective: August 5, 2026

1. Overview

Aviation Dictionary Lite ("App") is a free aviation reference and study app. This policy describes the limited information the current App processes.

2. Information We Process

Optional account information

If you create an optional account, Firebase Authentication processes your email address and password credential. The App does not receive or store your password in plain text.

Dictionary and study information

Diagnostic information

When an application error is reported, the App may write diagnostic details to Cloud Firestore, including an error message, stack trace when available, app version, platform, device description, and timestamp. The current App does not include advertising or a general-purpose analytics service and does not sell personal information.

3. How We Use Information

We use information only to authenticate optional accounts, provide dictionary and local study functionality, send requested password-reset messages, diagnose application errors, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Storage and Service Providers

The App uses Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. Information sent to Firebase is processed under Google's applicable terms and privacy policy. Local dictionary cache and study progress remain on the device until the App clears them or the user removes the App.

5. Account Deletion

Signed-in users can open Account, enter their password, and select Delete Account Permanently. After confirmation, the App permanently deletes the Firebase Authentication account and clears local study-session progress. This action cannot be undone.

The current App does not store a separate cloud user profile. Diagnostic events are operational records and are not used to recreate a deleted account.

6. Retention

7. Your Choices

You may use dictionary and study features without creating an account. Account holders can initiate permanent deletion directly in the App.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. International Processing

Firebase may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those locations may have different data-protection laws.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the App's behavior or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
