Privacy Policy for Beta One Inventory

Beta One Inventory is an inventory tracking app for robotics labs and technical teams. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

• Email address
• Display name
• Authentication identifiers

2.2 App Usage Data

• Inventory items, quantities, categories, storage locations, projects, and bills of materials
• Search and filter preferences
• Offline cache settings
• Feedback category, message, screen context, and submission timestamp when you choose to send feedback

2.3 Technical Data

• App version
• Operating-system platform and app screen associated with feedback you choose to submit

2.4 Project Documentation

• Images, photographs, and PDF documents you choose to attach
• Links to externally hosted documentation
• References describing where physical documents are stored
• Document titles, categories, file details, and project associations

Camera, photo-library, and file access is requested only after you choose the corresponding upload option. Uploaded files are stored using Firebase Storage and can be deleted from the project.

The current app does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, a crash-reporting SDK, or a general-purpose analytics SDK.

3. How We Use Information

• Authenticate and manage user access
• Provide inventory and search features
• Persist offline data and settings
• Store project documentation selected by authorized users
• Investigate feedback and respond to support requests

4. Data Security

We use reasonable security measures such as encrypted transport and restricted access. No system is 100% secure, but we follow best practices to protect data.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase services for authentication, cloud functions, database storage, file storage, and hosting. Google’s privacy policies apply to those services.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
